The Eastbourne Bandstand
The UK’s premiere seafront bandstand!  This restored 1930’s bandstand and outdoor concert venue, offers a lively entertainment programme of music and fireworks.  Daily concerts in summer range from classical and military brass to rock n roll and tribute nights.

Probably the largest show of it’s type in the UK, at the 2009 show you will see a fantastic range of emergency service displays including H.M.Coastguard, RNLI, Ambulance service,Fire & Rescue & the police service. There will also be a large presence of voluntary search & rescue teams this year along with contingents from the French National Gendarmerie, the Royal Navy, etc

Eastbourne Extreme
Eastbourne Extreme is one of the biggest FREE extreme sports festivals in the UK. Featuring a huge line up of air, land and water based outdoor pursuits, it takes place over 2 days on Eastbourne's Eastern seafront from 10am to 5pm each day.

Go Fast! Speed Days are back with a vengeance nd promise extreme speeds of up to 60mph as gravity racers take part in the UK leg of the World Downhill Skateboarding Championships.

Eastbourne Beer Festival
Preparations are underway for this year's festival with over 120 cask ales, wines, international bottled beers, ciders and perries on order.  Each session will feature live music and pub games entertainment.

Sunday 24th October
The Beachy Head Marathon is one the biggest off-road marathons in the UK. Formerly known as the Seven Sisters Marathon, it is popular for its scenic and challenging route through the South Downs countryside. Great for runners, joggers or walkers looking to get fit.
