New Year Celebration Programme 2011
A flexible programme to suit your requirements - choose TWO days out of three. Join us on 30th December and leave on New Year's Day ... arrive on New Year's Eve and leave on Monday morning ... or stay over until Tuesday and enjoy the Bank Holiday in Eastbourne. The choice is yours ...
Friday 30th December
Arrive any time after 2pm, or let us know if you would like to arrive earlier, and we will be waiting to greet you. Once you have settled into your room, you are welcome to come down to the lounge for a cup of tea and a slice of homemade cake - or enjoy a movie in our Party Room, where we'll even provide you with ice cream and popcorn to complete your cinematic experience. If you fancy a stroll before dinner, the Langham faces the promenade, there are nearby local shops, and the main town centre is only 15 minutes walk away.
Enjoy a three course Dinner in our one Rosette Restaurant, followed by live entertainment in our Party Room.
New Year's Eve (Saturday 31st December)
After an English Breakfast, why not explore the town of Eastbourne, or have a leisurely walk along the spectcular sea front, with stunning views towards Hastings in one direction, and Beachy Head in the other. Luncheon is served as required in the Restaurant and Bar. Later, afternoon tea will be served in the lounge to fortify you for the evening ahead.
The evening begins with a celebratory glass of bubbly, followed by the entrance of a Scottish Piper, who will lead you into dinner. Enjoy a splendid four course meal with coffee, followed by live music and entertainment.
After dinner the party really begins, with fireworks on the beach, then music and dancing as we count down to midnight. The party finishes at 1.00am but continues in the bar until the last person has gone to bed.
New Year's Day (Sunday 1st January 2012)
Begin 2012 with a Jazz Brunch from 11.00am, preceded by breakfast from 9.00am, with a glass of Buck's Fizz, before enjoying a stroll along the seafront to listen to the Dance Band playing at the Bandstand. In the afternoon there will be a trip to this year's pantomime 'The Adventures of Robin Hood', at Eastbourne's Victorian Devonsrie Park Theatre. Return in time for dinner in the Langham Restaurant, followed by live entertainment. Later, try your luck at the Casino, where you can play Roulette or Blackjack - and we'll even give you £100,000 to play with .. in fun money, of course!
Monday 2nd January 2012 (Bank Holiday Monday)
After breakfast we wish you a fond farewell, a Happy New Year, and we look forward to seeing you back at the Langham very soon for one of our other packages. Or why not extend your stay into the Bank Holiday and continue the festivities? Enjoy a Party Night in the evening, and the chance to play the tables at the Casino once again. Make your New Year celebrations last even longer!
Tuesday 3rd January
Enjoy a full English Breakfast prior to departure.
